Priority is given to equipment that meets one or more of the following criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Offers comfort without cost to the patient, i.e. patient lifts and blanket warmers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provides an essential community service but doesn\u2019t generate enough revenue to be self\u2011supportive, i.e. cardiac rehabilitation and obstetric services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensures residents can receive care in their own communities, i.e. adolescent physical therapy and bone scans.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #007574\">Where:<\/span><\/strong>  Hospitals and clinics throughout Samaritan\u2019s tri-county region of Benton, Lincoln and Linn counties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #007574\">When:<\/span>&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;Ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #007574\">Why:<\/span>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong>Samaritan can fund approximately $30 to $40 million for medical equipment annually, which covers about one-third of all equipment requests every year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>More than $160,000 in support was distributed in Benton, Lincoln and Linn counties in 2022.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>More than 1,000 community members are being assisted with expenses, such as medical bills, transportation, prescriptions, nutritional supplements and groceries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #007574\">Campaign Goal:<\/span>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong>$1.5 million.<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #007574\">Lead Foundation:<\/span><\/strong>&nbsp;
