Guided by the theme, Nature\u2019s Medicine: Rest and Rejuvenate, this year\u2019s community event series offers creative workshops, family-friendly activities and self-guided experiences. These events are designed to support reflection and well-being in the Japanese Healing Gardens at <a href=\"http:\/\/samhealth.org\/lebanon\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"samhealth.org\/lebanon\">Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital<\/a> and Boulder Falls Event Center. Mark your calendars, take a look at the full line up and don\u2019t forget to register for an event that inspires you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Special Garden Events This Season<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Quiet Seeing: Creative Nature Journaling<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Saturday, April 11, from 1 to 3 p.m. \u2013 <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/samhealth.org\/event\/quiet-seeing-creative-nature-journaling\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Learn more and register<\/a><\/strong><br><\/strong>Slow down and notice the healing garden in a new way through guided journaling and simple creative practices that encourage reflection and presence.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>De-stress With Your Senses<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sunday, May 3, from 1 to 4:30 p.m.<\/strong> \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/samhealth.org\/event\/de-stress-with-your-senses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Learn more and register<\/a><br>Experience the healing garden through sight, sound, touch, taste and smell with a rotation series of hands-on activities designed to help you unwind.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Garden Vignettes Textile Class<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Saturday, June 20, from 1 to 4 p.m.<\/strong> \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/samhealth.org\/event\/garden-vignettes-textile-class\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Learn more and register<\/a><br>Find inspiration in the healing garden and transform it into a personal fabric piece using layering end embroidery techniques.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Family Day in the Garden<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Saturday, July 18, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/strong> \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/samhealth.org\/event\/family-day-in-the-garden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Learn more and register<\/a><br>Enjoy a day of creativity and connection with family-friendly activities, including Japanese paper folding, garden games and hands-on art, plus a separate bonsai experience for adults offered for a small fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Monthly Garden Events <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Stroll for Well-being<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>From May through September the public is also invited to participate in the free\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/samhealth.org\/events\/list\/?tribe-bar-search=stroll\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Stroll for Well-being Program<\/strong><\/a>. The self-guided walking tours are designed to promote mental and emotional health through mindfulness practices in the serene garden environment. Participants can enjoy the beauty of nature while engaging in activities that enhance overall well-being. Registration and attendance at an orientation session are required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Garden Tours<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>From April through September the Lebanon Community Hospital Foundation hosts regular&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/samhealth.org\/events\/list\/?tribe-bar-search=summer+tours\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">garden tours<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;on the second Friday of each month from April to August, and on the third Friday in September. These tours provide visitors with an opportunity to learn about the unique design and history that make the healing gardens special.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About the Healing Gardens<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The healing gardens at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital are beautiful reflections of nature\u2019s restorative power. Designed by world-renowned Japanese landscape designer Hoichi Kurisu, these gardens provide a sanctuary for rest, regeneration and reconnection.
