Our organization offers <strong>informational interviews<\/strong> for high school and college students who want to learn more about the wide variety of roles in the health care field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What is an informational interview?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>An informational interview is a brief, structured conversation with a healthcare professional. It\u2019s a chance to ask questions, hear personal career stories, and gain insight into what different jobs are really like\u2014from nursing and lab work to administration and IT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Who are these for?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Informational interviews are designed for <strong>students<\/strong> who are exploring career options and want to learn more about healthcare roles. You do not need prior experience or a formal program affiliation to participate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What these are not:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Informational interviews are <strong>not<\/strong> job shadowing experiences, clinical rotations, or hands-on training opportunities. They do <strong>not<\/strong> fulfill academic or licensing requirements.
