Samaritan Behavioral Health &amp; Recovery Clinic in Lebanon builds upon an existing recovery clinic that was primarily focused on addiction medicine management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur new clinic integrates behavioral health services with primary care and addiction medicine, creating a collaborative multidisciplinary team approach to patient care,\u201d said Stephanie Dreiling, clinic operations manager. \u201cA fully staffed care team includes a psychiatrist, primary care physician, therapist and a certified alcohol and drug counselor.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Collaborative Approach to Care<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The multidisciplinary team addresses a variety of complex patient needs in one location, with patients frequently identified through a specialized intake process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe clinic focuses on people who have a combination of substance use disorders, serious persistent mental illnesses and medical complexities,\u201d said Medical Director <a href=\"https:\/\/samhealth.org\/patients-visitors\/find-a-doctor\/simmons-david-1821409731\/\">David Simmons, MD<\/a>. \u201cWe also collaborate with Samaritan\u2019s emergency departments to refer people to our clinic who could benefit from our services, knowing that many of these individuals\u2019 physical symptoms are complicated by underlying mental health issues.\u201d \u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We want patients to receive the right care in the right location,\u201d Dreiling added. \u201cBy getting them seen at the outpatient clinic, we can provide necessary care earlier, reduce their dependence on the emergency department for care and improve the patient\u2019s overall health outcome.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What the Outpatient Clinic Offers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Medication for addiction treatment:<\/strong> Prescription drug and counseling therapies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Psychiatric services:<\/strong> For mental illness and behavioral health care needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Primary care:<\/strong> To address physical health needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/samhealth.org\/find-a-location\/samaritan-behavioral-health-recovery-clinic-lebanon\/\">Samaritan Behavioral Health &amp;
