Part of their journey includes attending Samaritan\u2019s annual National Cancer Survivors Day events, along with other cancer survivors from throughout Benton, Lincoln and Linn counties. Read more and see the happy faces of many of the survivors!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Monmouth woman trusted her gut to actively seek a diagnosis for her condition, which turned out to be colon cancer. She reminds readers to self-advocate when something feels \u201coff\u201d with your body. Screenings and early detection are keys to life-saving treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other stories of interest include one about the new gynecologic cancer service now offered by top-notch gynecologic oncologists. Read about these specialty physicians as well as several other health care providers new to Samaritan who are now seeing patients throughout our region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This issue provides information of interest to our older population.
