These updates closely match the d\u00e9cor of the new Alma Pastega Wing constructed in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Mario and Alma Pastega Family Foundation donated $180,000 to the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation for these improvements to the Mario Pastega House\u2019s north wing. This generous gift paid for new flooring, lighting and furnishings of the 12 guest rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis 20th anniversary is a testament to the enduring impact of the Pastega family\u2019s vision. Every day, we see the difference this house makes in people\u2019s lives,\u201d said Sarha Settle, Pastega House manager.&nbsp;\u201cIt\u2019s more than just a place to stay; it&#8217;s a community of support during challenging times.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Established in 2005, the Mario Pastega House has provided a home away from home for countless families during times of medical crisis. Named after local philanthropist Mario Pastega, the house has become an integral part of the community\u2019s support system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ken Pastega, son of the late Mario Pastega, will deliver remarks on the house\u2019s journey and future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The open house will feature guided tours showcasing the comfortable accommodations and amenities provided to families. Following the tours, a cake reception will be held.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Community members, supporters and those interested in learning more about the Mario Pastega House\u2019s services are encouraged to attend this celebratory event.
