This annual remembrance brings people together to memorialize loved ones who have passed and to support hospice patients and their families.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-join-us-in-person-amp-online\"><strong>Join Us in Person &amp; Online<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s Light up a Life events&nbsp;offer both in person events and a virtual option. For those wishing to attend in person, two local events will be held:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/samhealth.org\/event\/light-up-a-life-remembrance-event-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Coast Event:&nbsp; Sunday, Nov. 2 \u2013 in Newport<\/a> <strong>at the Center for Health Education, from 2 to 4 p.m.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/samhealth.org\/event\/light-up-a-life-remembrance-event-3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Valley Event:&nbsp;Sunday, Nov. 16&nbsp; \u2013&nbsp; in Lebanon<\/a> <strong>at the Boulder Falls Event Center, <strong>from 2 to 4 p.m.<\/strong><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Online Event: Friday, Nov. 21 \u2013 visit <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/samhealth.org\/health-services\/all-services\/hospice\/light-up-a-life-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">samhealth.org\/LUAL2025<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333\">The virtual event<span style=\"color: #333333\"><span style=\"color: #333333\"> and link will be available<\/span> on the morning of <strong>Friday, Nov. 21<\/strong>. Visitors will be able to see reflections from hospice chaplains, a memorial slideshow of hospice patients and the annual candle lighting tribute.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section id=\"block_e85abc4f851272ec4edc1a86d745a15a\" class=\"shs-block block-section grid-container has-brown-background-color\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"entry-content\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-add-a-loved-one-to-this-year-s-remembrance\">Add a Loved One to This Year\u2019s Remembrance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>While Light up a Life focuses on Samaritan Evergreen Hospice patients who have passed away during the previous year, it is also open to community members who wish to donate in someone\u2019s memory.
