She assists with general surgery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She earned a bachelor\u2019s degree at University of Pittsburgh and a master\u2019s in physician assistant studies at Chatham University.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During college, Tetzlaff worked as a paramedic. She wanted to become a physician assistant because she enjoys building relationships with patients.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt is important to me that patients feel safe and informed so that we can make medical decisions that best align with their health care goals,\u201d she said.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tetzlaff chose Samaritan because she values working within a collaborative team.
