She earned a master\u2019s degree in nursing at Frontier Nursing University and completed a fellowship in palliative care at Veterans Affairs Medical Center (Bronx).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>English-Cremeans was inspired to become a palliative medicine nurse practitioner because she enjoys caring for people.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI wanted my focus to be helping patients dealing with serious illness to have the best possible quality of life,\u201d she said. \u201cI also love science and problem solving.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>English-Cremeans works with patients and their families to identify their health care goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBy determining what matters most to them at this time, we can use those values to develop a care plan,\u201d she said.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In her free time, English-Cremeans enjoys reading, gardening, hiking, camping and walking her dog.
