Dr. Jackson diagnoses and treats disorders and diseases of the endocrine system, including diabetes and thyroid conditions. She also sees patients at <a href=\"https:\/\/samhealth.org\/find-a-location\/samaritan-health-center-newport\/\">Samaritan Health Center \u2013 Newport<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/samhealth.org\/find-a-location\/samaritan-medical-group-endocrinology-albany\/\">Samaritan Endocrinology \u2013 Albany<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Jackson earned a bachelor\u2019s degree at Oregon State University and a medical degree and fellowship in endocrinology at Oregon Health &amp; Science University. She completed an internship and residency training at University of Washington &#8211; Boise.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her interest in science, helping people and making a difference in her community led her to become an endocrinologist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMedicine is a great way to do that. My specialty provides opportunities for more patient education and lifestyle modifications and less of a top-down approach to health,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Jackson is motivated to help people reach their individual health goals and improve their quality of life.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Jackson grew up on the Oregon Coast and is excited to return to Corvallis where she attended college.
