Your maternity <a href=\"https:\/\/samhealth.org\/health-services\/all-services\/obgyn\/maternity-care-coordinators\">care coordinator<\/a> is your one-stop source for birthing plan discussion, registration information, maternity tours, breastfeeding and childbirth class recommendations, and much more. If you are having a C-section, your surgical suite is just a few feet away, inside the Family Birthing Center.<br><br>After your labor, delivery and recovery, you and your baby will continue to receive care in your birthing suite where you can introduce guests to your new baby!<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"entry-content shs-block column\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"walk\">Take a Room Walk-Through<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"walk\">Your private birthing suite features a flat screen TV, DVD player and free Internet. Who will be there with you? Do you want a natural birth, or medication to help with your comfort? Do you want to walk around or sit in the jetted tub during labor? Will you be breastfeeding?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is your time! Since babies often have a mind of their own, it&#8217;s possible that not everything will go as planned.
